This week's update

18 Sep 2026

Quick recap of the two different things you've now got, because they do two different jobs.

Your landing pages (first button above) are what people land on when they click one of your Google Ads. Seven pages, all live: Emergency, Switchboards & Mains, Power Pole Replacement, EV Charger Installation, General & Residential, Commercial, and Contact. Real photos of your jobs, your reviews, your licence number, and the quote form wired straight into your phone.

Your main website at www.buetecelectrical.com.au is the one Google indexes and ranks over the long term. It's built and connected to your domain. We ran a full audit on it this week and found a list of things to tidy up from the template it was built on (missing page titles, placeholder text on the suburb pages, no tracking), and that's being fixed now. The blog is the part we're building specifically to rank, more on that below.

Google Ads is built, checked, and sitting paused ready for Monday. Details below so you know exactly what's going live.

What goes live on Monday

Google Ads campaign, built and reviewed, switches on Monday 21 September

FocusEmergencyPower out, sparking, burning smell, switchboard tripping. The jobs people ring about right now.
Daily budget$20About $600 a month to start. We scale it once we've seen real enquiries come through.
Ad groups2"Emergency Electrician" and "24 Hour / After Hours Electrician", 13 search phrases between them.
Where it shows2 zones15km around your Clarkson base, and 10km around West Leederville where you already get plenty of work.
What to expect in the first few weeks: the first 2 to 3 weeks are Google learning who clicks and who calls. We don't judge it until it's had 50 to 100 clicks, and we review every search phrase people actually typed each week so we can block the junk (people looking for jobs, DIY questions, other suburbs). Your ads promise fixed price before we start, $0 surprise fees, and same day where possible, exactly as you confirmed.
The one thing that makes or breaks this: answer the phone, or call back within a few minutes. Someone with no power is ringing the next electrician on the list if you don't pick up. A call back inside 5 minutes versus an hour later can be the difference between winning most of these jobs and losing most of them. If an enquiry comes in, we want to know about it, even the ones you don't win.

The blog, and why we're bothering

Being built on your main website at buetecelectrical.com.au/blogs

Ads get you found today. The blog gets you found for free, forever, for the searches people type before they ring anyone: "switchboard upgrade cost perth", "how much does an EV charger install cost", "is a burning smell from the switchboard an emergency". We've seen this work on another Perth electrician's site, where one cost post went from page 6 of Google to page 2 in a month for "switchboard upgrade perth". Each post answers a real question with a real price, then points to your quote form.

Nothing for you to do here yet, except this: when we send you a draft post to check a price or a detail, a quick reply keeps it moving.
